Lawyer Says Wilton Executive Held After Stabbing Camping Companions Had Bad Reaction to Cannabis

An executive with a discount retailer from Wilton who allegedly stabbed two friends in an unprovoked attack at a Massachusetts campground had an adverse psychological reaction to cannabis-infused gummies, according to his lawyer. Police say 47-year-old Jeffrey DeLuca used kitchen knives to stab both men in front of their children Friday night. DeLuca, a Ross Stores vice president, faces multiple charges including armed assault to murder and child endangerment.
