Lamont Promotes Automatic College Admission Program

Governor Ned Lamont is reminding Connecticut high school students that good grades can mean automatic admission to 10 participating colleges and universities. The Connecticut Automatic Admission Program allows seniors with at least a 3.0 weighted GPA—or 2.75 unweighted—to apply with one form and no fees, essays, or recommendation letters. The program, run by Connecticut State Colleges and Universities with Common App, is now open for applications through May 1, 2026.
