Ridgefield Voters To Decide On Public Safety Building

Ridgefield will hold a November referendum on a revised $77.4 million public safety building after voters rejected the original $85.6 million plan in February. The new facility on Old Quarry Road would house police and fire crews, replacing century-old stations. Officials say the redesign lowers costs, addresses tax concerns, and ensures quick emergency response, while public information sessions are scheduled for October 4 and 25.
