Danbury police arrested 27 year old Sonya Stevenson of Danbury and 27 year old Shelby Pritchard of New Milford following an investigation into abuse of two children under 10. Authorities say a Ring camera captured Stevenson striking the children with a belt while Pritchard restrained them. Both women face multiple charges, including intentional cruelty to persons, risk of injury to a child, third-degree assault, disorderly conduct, and conspiracy. They were arraigned, and then released on $75,000 bond each. Both women have court dates set for November 13.
