Danbury Schools Receive State Grant For After-School Programs

$5.3 million in state funding has been earmarked for new after-school programs across Connecticut, including more than $153,000 for Danbury Public Schools. The grant will benefit students at Stadley Rough and South Street Schools, expanding academic and enrichment opportunities beyond the regular school day. The programs are designed to improve academic performance, attendance, and student engagement while providing a safe place for children after school hours.
