41 year old Raymond Neuberge of Easton, was charged Wednesday with two counts of first-degree harassment after police said web searches on his phone showed threats toward Fairfield officers. Neuberger, a former town official who served prison time for animal cruelty, allegedly searched for officers’ addresses and made statements like “kill all the Fairfield cops brutally.” He was arrested in April for threatening officers and federal prosecutors also charged him for phone threats. Judge Maureen Dennis set bond at $150,000 and continued the case to Nov. 3. Neuberger is scheduled to appear in federal court Nov. 17.
