Danbury Mayor Roberto Alves has pledged $50,000 in cannabis tax revenue to help launch the new Danbury Boys and Girls Club facility.
The Clubhouse, set to open in early 2026, will operate in the former community center on Boughton Street and serve kids from kindergarten through 12th grade. The money will go toward startup costs and programming.
