Brookfield officials could select a new schools superintendent as soon as early January. Consultants for the Board of Education say applications will be accepted through Nov. 20, with candidate interviews starting in early December. Interim superintendent Vonda Tencza is leading the district until the new appointment, following the departure of former superintendent John Barile.
