Bissell Pharmacy in Ridgefield has officially closed its doors after serving the community for more than two decades. Owner and longtime pharmacist Ed Karvosky announced his retirement, calling it an “incredible 26-year adventure.” The pharmacy, located on Governor Street, first opened in 1999. Karvosky says prescriptions will now be available at nearby Walgreens, while the Loft Gift Shop will reopen for the holiday season.
