Ridgefield Voters Reject Public Safety Building For Second Time

Ridgefield voters have again rejected a proposed $77.4 million public safety building that would have combined police, fire, and EMS under one roof. The measure failed last week by more than 1,800 votes. It’s the second defeat this year after an earlier $85.6 million version was voted down in February. Town leaders say they’ll review options before bringing a revised plan back to residents.
