The Ridgefield Board of Selectpersons has appointed Jack Sanders as Town Historian and Betsy Reid as Assistant Town Historian. Sanders, a longtime editor of The Ridgefield Press and author of several local history books, has chronicled the town’s past for decades. Reid recently retired after 20 years with the Ridgefield Historical Society, where she led preservation and oral history projects.
