Family and friends are remembering 88 year old Michael Anastas, a former Brookfield deacon and New Milford Rotary Club member who died after a recent fall. Anastas was known for bringing people together and staying active in community and political circles. He served in churches in Brookfield and Scarsdale, worked with outreach programs helping the homeless, and spent years in advertising before retiring in 2000. A service was held at the Congregational Church of Brookfield.
