Southbury police say vandals tore through two town parks, heavily damaging a pavilion at Ballantine Park and the kitchen area at Settlers Park sometime between November 26 and 30. Restrooms were smashed apart, cabinets broken, fire extinguishers set off and equipment stolen. Toilets were shattered and debris was scattered across the floors.
