Epic Flight Academy is opening a new campus at Danbury Municipal Airport, adding flight training to the airport’s Business Aircraft Center. The school plans about 2,000 square feet of classrooms and offices, hiring 10 employees and starting with 30 students training to become professional pilots. City leaders say the move comes as the nation faces a pilot shortage and positions Danbury to help fill that gap while strengthening the local economy. The academy expects to open between April and June of 2026.
