Epic Flight Academy is bringing a new pilot training campus to Danbury Municipal Airport, aiming to tap into the nationwide pilot shortage. The school will open with about two thousand square feet of classroom space, hire ten employees, and start with a first class of thirty students. City leaders say the move strengthens Danbury’s economy and gives locals a direct path into high-paying aviation careers. The academy expects to open between April and June of next year.
