A Danbury church leader and taxi driver has been found dead just across the New York state line, and investigators are treating the case as a homicide. Putnam County officers say 66 year old Aurelio Zhunio-Orbez of Danbury was last seen December 1 after picking up a fare at the Brewster train station. His taxi, a black Toyota Sienna, was later found abandoned. Police are urging anyone who saw that vehicle to come forward as the search for whoever killed him continues.
