The Danbury High School marching band made history this season, capturing its first state championship since 2011 with a 0.1-point win in class 1A and later placing seventh at nationals with a score of 84.5. The band credits teamwork, mindset, and extra effort for their breakthrough, and plans to expand and tackle an advanced show next year.
