Danbury Volleyball Coach Arrested on Animal Cruelty Charges

Danbury High School’s volleyball coach was arrested on two counts of cruelty to animals after police found his dogs confined in unsanitary conditions. Officers say one dog, a Rottweiler, appeared extremely thin and was kept in a bathroom with feces and urine on the floor. 37 year old Willie Hendricks of Brookfield, was released on $1,000 bond. It remains unclear if he will face disciplinary action from the school.
