Governor Ned Lamont says he will send a plan to state lawmakers to release at least 5.2 million dollars for homelessness prevention across Connecticut. The money would backfill federal housing grants that were paused nationwide. Lamont blames the federal freeze and says the state reserve fund will keep providers operating while lawmakers review the plan.
