Connecticut and three other New England states have selected 173 megawatts of new solar power through a joint competitive process. Connecticut is securing 67 megawatts across three projects, with the rest shared by Massachusetts, Maine and Vermont. Officials say the projects will cut costs for ratepayers, strengthen grid reliability and bring new zero carbon electricity online before 2030.
