18th Connecticut Resident Charged In DraftKings Fraud Case

A Danbury man is the 18th Connecticut resident charged in an alleged DraftKings fraud scheme involving stolen credit card information. 26 year old Yoel Perez was arrested on third degree larceny and conspiracy charges following an investigation by the state Department of Consumer Protection. Investigators say more than 190 thousand dollars in fraudulent activity was tied to multiple DraftKings accounts across several Connecticut cities. Perez told investigators he allowed an old classmate to use his account, though banking records dispute parts of that claim. Perez for now, is free on bond.
