Most power outages reported across Connecticut during freezing rain and fog were quickly resolved. Eversource says about 800 outages were reported Monday afternoon, largely in New Fairfield, with power restored within about 30 minutes. Earlier outages affecting more than 1,500 other customers, were also cleared by midday. Utility officials say the outages were tied to equipment issues and maintenance.
