Danbury police are investigating a deadly shooting at a Lake Avenue townhouse. Officers were called Wednesday just before 8:40pm after a gun was fired inside a home. Police say a single round went through a wall and struck a neighbor, who later died at the hospital. The suspected shooter left before officers arrived. Investigators say it appears to be an isolated incident and there is no ongoing threat to the community.
