A Connecticut man has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting two students while working in a New York school district. Prosecutors say 32 year old Reid Kappler admitted to three counts of third-degree rape involving teenagers ages 15 and 16 in 2023 and 2024. Kappler was employed as a custodian and wrestling coach at the time. He faces up to 12 years in prison and is scheduled to be sentenced March 25.
