State regulators are taking public comment on a proposed expansion of a natural gas compressor station in Brookfield. The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection held a virtual hearing Thursday on Iroquois Gas plans to more than double capacity at a station about 1,900 feet from Whisconier Middle School. The project would add up to 125 million cubic feet of gas per day and has drawn concerns over health and safety.
