Bethel Police arrested 34 year old Eric Stavola following a multi-day investigation that began a week ago. A search warrant served at his Chestnut Street apartment turned up a loaded firearm hidden under a dresser. Police say Stavola is a convicted felon without a valid permit and the gun was reported stolen out of Maine. He was arrested during a traffic stop last Friday, where officers also found weapons, drugs, paraphernalia, and cash. Stavola faces multiple firearm and narcotics charges and is due in Danbury Superior Court January 20.
