The next phase of WestCOG’s ADA Transition Plan Assistance Project is now underway. Kickoff meetings with municipal staff in Brookfield and Sherman were held in November. WT Group audit teams were in both towns during the week of December 15 through 19, reviewing municipal buildings and facilities. About 20 sites are being audited in Brookfield and 10 in Sherman. The audits will be followed by site reports, policy reviews, and community input through surveys and public meetings. Final transition plans are expected soon.
