A Bethel police officer is facing felony charges after prosecutors say she tried to interfere in a fatal Shelton crash investigation that killed 14 year old Chloe Ramsubhag. Jessenia Beamonte appeared in Derby Superior Court, accused of helping her brother evade responsibility following the January 2025 wreck on Route 8. Beamonte, a 10 year veteran of the department, was released on $250,000 bond, while her brother faces manslaughter charges.
