Bethel Youth Programs Receive $150,000 in Connecticut Budget

Bethel will get $150,000 from the new state budget to support youth programs. Half the funds will launch an afterschool program through Kind Works, Inc., focusing on emotional wellness and social skills. The other half will improve the town’s Teen Center with new equipment and expanded activities. Officials say the investments aim to create safer, stronger communities and provide young people with more resources and opportunities to thrive.
