A crash involving a car and a bicycle that happened on Mill Plain Road is under investigation by Danbury Police. Here’s what we know so far. A man who was riding a bicycle was taken to the hospital to be treated for what police termed a “severe” head injury after the crash that happened last Friday afternoon around 4:30 near the Mill Plain Park Plaza and Mill Plain Independent Hose Company firehouse. He is only described as a man in his 50s and there has been no update on his condition. Police say the driver who hit him is a Danbury resident. No names have been released, and so far, no charges have been filed.

Ed was also among a select group of industry professionals invited by Google to its California headquarters following the company’s acquisition of Scott Studios. He was one of just 12 broadcasters nationwide chosen to participate in discussions and provide input during the design and rollout of Google’s digital broadcast automation platform. Although the majority of Ed’s career—spanning roughly four decades—was rooted in music radio, he transitioned into news and information programming in 2012. He says the move into spoken-word broadcasting was a natural evolution after decades of experience in multiple areas of the industry.
