A black bear was spotted outside the Brookfield Library on Wednesday. Police later tracked the bear to the Still River Greenway Trail, about a mile away, before steering it back into the woods. The sighting comes just days before the library’s 50th anniversary celebration, which will feature a public juggling show, concert, and reception.
