Brookfield schools have a permanent leader. The Board of Education has unanimously selected Stephen Foresi of the Newington Public Schools as the district’s next superintendent. His appointment takes effect Feb. 9. The board says Foresi brings nearly 30 years of experience in education, including leadership roles as a principal, assistant principal, and assistant superintendent. The hire follows a months-long search after the resignation of former Superintendent John Barile. Contract and salary details have not yet been released.
