A major Connecticut grower is part of a challenge that could push the U.S. Supreme Court to end federal cannabis prohibition. Verano, which owns CT Pharma and Zen Leaf shops, joined three other producers in arguing Congress has no authority to regulate cannabis grown and sold only within a single state. The justices will decide by December 15 whether to hear the case.
