A Waterbury auto dealer who pushed Danbury leaders to rezone his 27 acres for 225 apartments is now trying to cash out. Fritz Blasius, who won unanimous approval in July, has put the Saw Mill Road property on the market for seven-point-five million dollars. A broker handling the sale says Blasius never planned to build anything himself and wants a buyer who can get a housing plan approved without stirring up the city’s west side again. Interest is already coming in.
