The FDA has upgraded a nationwide cheese recall, including Connecticut, to its highest danger level due to possible listeria contamination. Eight grated pecorino romano products made by New Jersey-based Ambriola were sold at stores including Big Y and Wegmans under brands such as Boar’s Head and Locatelli. The Class One recall means there is a reasonable chance the products could cause serious illness or death. Customers are urged not to eat the cheese and return it for a full refund.
