Connecticut is directing nearly 12 million dollars toward 17 new projects aimed at improving transportation safety and mobility. The grants come through the state’s Community Connectivity Grant Program, which supports infrastructure upgrades that make travel safer for pedestrians and bicyclists in communities of all sizes. State officials say the funding strengthens local connectivity, boosts economic development, and expands options for walking and biking. The program has now invested about 74 million dollars into 155 projects statewide.
