Nearly 40,000 Connecticut residents are getting letters this week saying some or all of their medical debt is gone. The latest round wipes out more than 63 million dollars under a state partnership with the nonprofit Undue Medical Debt. Since late 2024, nearly 160,000 people have seen a total of 198 million dollars erased.
