Foreclosure activity in Connecticut declined for a second straight year in 2025, but the state still ranks among the highest in the Northeast. Newly released data shows just over 4,300 homes were in foreclosure proceedings last year, about one in every 356 properties statewide. That places Connecticut 12th highest nationally and second in the region behind New Jersey.
