The state board overseeing embalmers has arrested and revoked the license of Philip Pietras (pee-A-truss) the owner of several funeral homes in Connecticut, who is accused of stealing money from customers. Pietras, who was charged with first-degree larceny back in April, allegedly spent prepaid funeral funds on vacations and casinos. Authorities say dozens more complaints are under investigation across four towns here in Connecticut where Pietras’ operates funeral homes. No additional arrests have been announced.
