Connecticut’s Department of Labor is launching a new e-Apprenticeship system today. The online platform will allow employers to register apprentices, manage records, and pay fees digitally. Apprentices can track their training progress. The system moves the state’s Registered Apprenticeship Training Program onto an existing e-license system used across state agencies. More than 7,000 apprentices and 1,800 employers currently participate. The program covers over 50 industries and provides paid training that ends in a portable credential.
