Connecticut Secures $190 Million In Federal Earmark Funding

Connecticut is set to receive about 190 million dollars in federal funding for more than 175 local and statewide projects, the first earmarked funding to reach states in two years. The money will support infrastructure, affordable housing, education, and public safety projects in communities across the state. The funding was secured by the state’s congressional delegation through spending packages approved by Congress, and will fund government operations through September.
