Connecticut high school students ages 14 to 18 can enter the state’s 17th annual Teen Safe Driving Video Contest for a chance to win up to $26,000 in prizes for themselves and their schools. Hosted by the Connecticut DMV and Travelers, the contest asks teens to create 45-second public service announcements promoting safe driving and highlighting at least one Connecticut teen driving law. Officials say traffic crashes remain a leading cause of death for teens and hope the contest encourages peers to adopt safer driving habits. Submissions are due by February 2, 2026.
