Danbury Bakery Recalls Coffee Cakes Over Undeclared Milk

Frozen coffee cakes made by C+R Homestyle Bakery in Danbury are being recalled because they contain undeclared milk. The Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection says the cakes were distributed to Dandy Foods in Danbury and Jordan Paige Enterprise in North Haven, which supply restaurants and retailers. Flavors include plain, chocolate, blueberry, raspberry and apple. No illnesses have been reported. The recall was triggered after milk and whey were found in the ingredients but not listed on the packaging.
