Danbury Based Arka Group to Be Acquired in $2.6 Billion Cash

CACI International has agreed to buy Danbury-based ARKA Group for $2.6 billion in cash, expanding its role in classified satellite and intelligence programs. ARKA develops advanced space sensing payloads used across multiple orbits and supports high-priority national defense missions. The company employs about 1,000 people and is projected to generate roughly $650 million in revenue over the next year. The deal is expected to close in early 2026, pending regulatory approval.
