Danbury’s Zoning Board of Appeals approved a variance allowing extra parking spaces at the former Hologic warehouse on Apple Ridge Road, now being converted into industrial condos. The change addresses a 30-foot buffer required by the residential zoning for the new west side high school next door. The variance permits up to 75 additional parking spaces on the north side, totaling 329 spaces on the 11-acre property. City officials say the extra parking is crucial to attract tenants.
