Wilton police say a 20 year old Danbury man was arrested after twice fleeing officers at speeds topping 100 miles an hour. Justin Taveras allegedly used a fake license plate, drove without registration, and nearly hit an officer deploying spike strips. He later turned himself in and was charged with multiple offenses including reckless endangerment and engaging police in pursuit. Taveras was released and is due in court November 13 in Stamford.
