Danbury Man Sentenced To Four Years For Drive By Shooting

A Danbury man has been sentenced to four years in prison for his role in a July 2024 drive-by shooting at Rogers Park in Danbury. 20 year old Alexie Espinal pleaded guilty to attempted first-degree assault, carrying a pistol without a permit, and illegal possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle. A co-defendant, Jimmy Acevedo, faces pretrial hearings in early December.
