The Danbury Health Department will offer free Community Emergency Response Team training starting June 16. The hands-on course teaches residents disaster response skills including first aid, fire safety, and search and rescue. It’s open to anyone 18 or older living in Danbury. Participants must attend all five sessions to earn certification. Classes will be held at the Danbury Police Department and Fire School. Space is limited and registration is required. Here’s the link:
