Danbury Police, working with multiple state agencies, took enforcement action against two city vape shops on Wednesday, following complaints of illegal THC sales to minors. Inspections at Cali Exotic Convenience and Star Rose Smoke Shop uncovered more than 30 pounds combined of illicit THC products, including flower, oils, and edibles. Cali Exotic was shut down and issued a stop-work order, and its clerk, 29 year old Mariana Valentino Do Amaral, was arrested on cannabis and warrant charges. The investigation remains ongoing.
