Danbury school officials say the district’s overdue 2024 financial audit should be finished by the end of this month. The report is nearly a year late and part of ongoing efforts to get the city’s finances back on track after years of delays. Auditors are still said to be reviewing the books. Once complete, they’ll begin work on the 2025 audit, which could wrap up by next spring.
